Reading is very enjoyable for me, I spend a good amount of time doing so. I read for leisure and at other times to learn a little something, but its most pleasurable when the two are combined. This was definitely the case while reading It Didn’t Start With You: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End The Cycle. By: Mark Wolynn. If you’re needing a little insight on a few puzzling aspects of yourself, give this book a gander. Then give the electric company a call because each and all of the light bulbs will be turning on. By the time I made it to chapter 2, I had my grandmother on the phone, saying “read this book and tell me what you think”. That may not mean much to you, oh but trust me that holds some weight. Take a quick sec to think about just a few of the traumas in your family history…and then head to the library (or wherever you get your books) to check this book out. Because you’re an ever evolving human being, I know you’ll do so, even if it’s for curiosity’s sake. Spill the tea once you do and tell me what you think.
