It has been a while to say the least. Many inspirational thoughts and thought-provoking experiences have occurred since my last post in June. Interestingly enough, each time my creative flow was prompted and urged to post and share…I simply didn’t. There was more to learn. Making it to the halfway point of 2020 was ironically only the starting point. Many of days and hours were spent meditating in local parks, self-exploration and grounding were non-negotiables this summer. There was no turning away from the truth that I had unintentionally spoken aloud while preparing for what started out as any other day, “I am not happy”. I could not believe that those words had fallen out of my mouth, because I honestly thought that I was happy. I literally almost did not recognize the voice that dared to speak my truth, how dare she. Lacking the capacity to unhear those words, I decided to lean in and listen to the person who dared to utter those words…
…She had plenty more to say. Nudging her to continue, utilizing the infamous words of Dr. Fraiser Crane, “Go ahead, I’m listening”. She spoke and I listened, I listened and she continued to speak and soon we were having meaningful conversations. She questioned and I answered, I questioned and she answered and soon we were exploring past imprints. She had plenty more to say. I listened. Over the past few months I have listened, spoken, learned, and applied in an almost inexplicable manner. Look forward to bearing witness to the magic…evolution.
